Woodworking was one of the first crafts in human history and played a key role in the development of civilization. Today, it is increasingly common to focus on sustainability, the use of renewable materials and the pursuit and adoption of environmentally friendly solutions, favoring natural options over artificial ones. We might call this a ‘new era of wood’, with this noble natural material proving ever more popular. Whether we are talking about the cheapest cuts or most premium pieces, wood is capable of weathering both changing trends and the ravages of time.



It offers countless indisputable advantages for architecture, furnishings and decor:

• it is versatile and adapts to any style
• it is eco-friendly and renewable
• it enhances the harmony of any space, making it both relaxing and refreshing


ARD pays close attention to the quality of the wood we use in our workshop and not only because quality is key in ensuring the high quality of our products. Indeed, quality means first and foremost traceability, ensuring that the materials we use are environmentally responsible in all senses, including harvesting and distribution. All our wood is sourced from certified sustainable forests. This is a very deliberate choice on our part that reflects our commitment to safeguarding biodiversity and productivity for today and tomorrow and reducing the company’s environmental impact. This is why we have chosen not to utilize cheaper wood from irresponsible harvesting that depletes forestry resources and harms ecosystems.
